Flight Ticket and Accommodation
- All trainees should reserve and pay their round-trip flights and accommodation during the training period by themselves.
- The person in charge of the training center (trainer) can help you to find accommodation near or in the training center if you ask them.
The center list can be referred to our website.
- Your itinerary (flight invoice) and accommodation information should be shared with the trainer and secretariat.
After those are ready, please send the trainer and secretariat the invoice of the flight ticket and your accommodation info by April 28, 2023.
Visa
All foreign visitors wishing to enter the Republic of Korea must have a valid passport. Some visitors must obtain a Korea visa before departure. We encourage you to contact the Korean embassy in your country directly and check all required documents for your safe trip.

Please let us know if there are any documents you need for getting a Visa to travel to Korea. (Official invitation letter, Business registration certificate, etc.)

Clinical training at each training center
The official training period is from May 30 to June 5, 2023, and may be adjusted a little bit depending on the circumstances of the training center. Please discuss the details of the training schedule with the trainer. The secretariat will help you if you have any problems contacting them or need further assistance.
Hands-on Courses (Deadline: April 7)
- Date & Time: June 7 (Wed), 14:00-18:00
- Venue: K-TEC, Songdo
For IYEA trainees, three types of hands-on courses, such as ESD, EUS, and Endoscopy Instrument & Stent will take place at K-TEC in Songdo. Please apply for the hands-on course you would like to attend via this link (https://forms.gle/atmALiHpxYW3kXPUA ) by April 7, 2023.

Young Endoscopist Forum
- Date & Time: June 8 (Thu), 13:00-17:00 (Detailed time will be decided.)
- Venue: Grand Walkerhill Seoul
All trainees should submit an abstract and attend the Young Endoscopist Forum.
For abstract submission, please refer to the information below.
Program details will be posted on the website after the program is finalized.
IDEN 2023
- Date & Time: June 9 (Fri) -10 (Sat)
- Venue: Grand Walkerhill Seoul
IDEN 2023 will officially start from June 9 at the same venue as the Young Endoscopist Forum.
A poster of your abstract will be presented at IDEN 2023 as well as Young Endoscopist Forum.
Registration for IDEN 2023
- All trainees are encouraged to sign up for IDEN membership. Now IDEN membership is free, so access the IDEN 2023 website and join us (www.iden.or.kr).
- After signing up, you should make the pre-registration fee payment to IDEN 2023 via our website. Please note that the deadline for pre-registration is May 15, 2023.
- The registration fee will be refunded with award money during IDEN 2023 onsite.
Abstract Submission
- The abstract should be submitted through the IDEN 2023 website by April 14, 2023. Please refer to the abstract submission guidelines (https://www.iden.or.kr/iden2023/abstract/ ).
- After review by the committee, the abstract will be selected and presented at both the Young Endoscopist Forum and IDEN 2023
- For the Young Endoscopist Forum, the presentation type will be announced as either oral or poster.
- At IDEN 2023, accepted abstracts will be presented as posters.
